My father grew up in the late 50s and early 60s and he can never stop describing how good the times were back then. There is normally a dedicated radio channel that purely plays music produced around this time. How I wish I lived during this era, the golden days of radio.

I've thought that before too. There is a lot of music that I like from that era and I find myself listening to this type of music a lot more the older I get. Do you listen to it on streaming channels?

I sometimes find myself tuning to the oldies channels, as well. A lot of the music is relaxing to listen to. The Everly Brothers and Elvis (of course) are some of my favourites. Very Happy

The oldies are great and that is the category of music that never dies. Lately, I have been comparing the current trends of music with what things were like back then and it is a pity that there are certain musicians that we'll dare not listen to, 20 or so years on.
