If you have ever wondered about getting a degree in sound design, this looks like a good place to start:

http://www.scad.edu/academics/programs/sound-design

Who knows, you may end up being able to design and make something like this:

Be the high-end quality yin to the current yang of low-end "fashionable" audio.

I might steer my daughter in that direction. She loves music and I don't think anyone has ever mentioned that career option to her yet.

Thanks for the tip. Cool

That does "sound" like it would be a fun career. I'm sure there's hard work involved, but you would be working hard to make the best environment for music, and the best music for any environment. How could a person not enjoy that?
