I stumbled across an article which mentioned room acoustic calculators, an entirely new topic to me. Two hours and several websites later I am not much wiser. Anyone here used one of these? If so, was it helpful?

I've used CARA, and found it helpful. The main thing I was hoping to do was to model different configurations and see room modes and energy distribution in the modal region. It does a great job of that.
