I was wondering if anyone has checked out this movie yet? My sister and I wanted to go see it around Christmas time but we never made it to the theater. I saw that it didn't get very good ratings and was wondering if the movie is anything like the book?

It was good. I wasn't sorry I went to see it but I always prefer the book over the movie whenever I see a classic novel adapted for the screen.
