Hi Wayne,

I have just built a new home in Australia and included a dedicated room for my home theatre and would like to use the 4pi design for the LCR built into a baffle wall with a 120" 2.35:1 Seymour AT screen. do you see any issues using the 4pi for his purpose?

Could you kindly send the design so I can begin to design the wall and order the parts required.

Cheers
Gavin

Sounds like you will build a very fine home theater. The four π loudspeaker is perfectly suited to your purpose.

Many people build the center channel sealed. It allows the waveguide to be centered in the center speaker. Keep the right and left channels as shown in the plans, with the left speaker having the tweeter on the left, and the right on the right. This is a great setup, acoustically and aesthetically.

I've send plans via email. I suggest reading the material in the π Speakers FAQ. A general overview can be found in the document called "High-Fidelity Uniform-Directivity Loudspeakers." There is also plenty of other good information and construction tips contained in the FAQ.

Please keep us informed on your progress!
