It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement.
Melissa Parham died on November 21, 2014.
Eddie will never get to kiss his mother again. This would break Melissa's heart to think about. She loved Eddie more than anything in the world, and he loves her even more.
I remember when Melissa and I met. Seems like just yesterday. Melissa has so many friends and family that love her.
Some say that Melissa is in a better place. I hope that is true, that there is an afterlife where Melissa is full of joy and free from pain. I wanted so much for Melissa to have a wonderful, fulfilling and happy life, without burden or discomfort.
She used to often send me YouTube songs at work. There are a couple that seem to be stuck in my head: "Witness" by Sarah McLachlan and "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John. They haunt me now, bringing me such a heavy heart.
