Started the completion of the center channel speaker. Ordered a used JBL 2226H off eBay. Arrived in great condition, especially considering it has a sticker from 1996 on the magnet.
Ordered a crossover from Wayne this morning. Hope to have last speaker up and running by next weekend.
I got rid of the two sealed enclosures for the LAB12's and built two 100 L ported enclosures (tuned to 22 Hz per winISD).

Lots of good memories there, and in this thread.
I'll send your crossover tomorrow morning. The silicon adhesive that cushions the coils has been curing since Monday. Those thick blobs take a long time to cure, but I think they're solid enough now to make the trip. I usually let 'em sit a week.

It's been a looooong trip...the speakers have literally been around the world.
They sound a lot better after the refinish job, apparently during the transit from Cambodia the bolts holding on the DE250 CD's came loose, on both speakers (that or I didn't get them tight 3 yrs ago, I'm going with trouble in transit so I don't look stooped!). Amazing how much more top end there is now.
Great news about the crossover shipping, I'm putting on the final Duratex coats on the center channel speaker today.

Center channel speaker complete. ..5.1 system w 3 subs good to go. Ran through several concert Blu Rays (from Adele to Metallica) and the sound is great.
Next step is busting out the measurement equipment and getting busy with measuring and equalizing the system.
