I have an old realistic receiver that works and sounds great but the lights on the front are burnt out so when I turn it on it sounds great but you can't see the blue-lit face. It's just black. I think they may be led lights but I don't know. how do I fix them and bring my receiver into the light?

You just have to open it up, identify the lamps and replace them. Most old receivers used small incandescent bulbs, so this was a common service item after a few years. I expect many people just left them burnt out. Now days, most equipment uses LED lighting instead, which almost never needs replacement.
