Hello all. My first post here.
I am hoping to finish an old project. I have the JBL LE14H-3 that I want to pair with the H290C and DE250 driver. I will use a modified econowave x-over which lowers the crossover frequency to 900Hz for the LE14. My question is will the H290C play down that low without distortion or break-up? I have not bought waveguides or CDs yet due to my apprehension. Any thoughts?

Hard to find specs on the LE14 away from it's Array, or as a sub-woofer, but the rubber surround perhaps means a lot of xmax and a lower efficiency than you might want to pair with a compression driver.
JBL crosses it at 300Hz as a sub, the DE-250 Fs is 1,000 Hz. You must have information I can't find to want to do this?

The freq resp in on axis for the LE14. No shure it would go higher than 500/800Hz, you would need a horn that goes lower. The dispersions need to be almost the same for the 2 components at xover point.
