LSAF 2014 will be held at the same place, Embassy Suites in North Dallas Park Central, May 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The registration page has already been setup on the LSAF website.

This year, we're going to have a seminar room, so please contact us if you wish to give a talk. We'll post the names and times of each seminar on the LSAF schedule page.

Hi We (Oddwatt Audio) plan to attend and this year with some new stuff. Production versions of the long delayed value phono preamp should be ready well before then. It is likely that a SS one will also be available for folks that don't like things that glow in the dark. It will certainly be a lot less expensive. The prototype sounds quite nice, but not IMHO as nice as the tube one. With a tad bit of luck the guitar head amp will be ready by then as well. Rolling Eyes

I'll probably bring three π speakers with the new Definimax midwoofer option, and of course the H290C waveguide.

Hopefully I'll have the time and funds to get out there. I'd be like a kid in a candy shop. Is there a list of speakers, human talkers that is, on the registration site somewhere?

A list of seminars and their times will be listed on the "Schedule" page. But right now, the schedule is still being decided.

Speakers we already know about are Bruce Heran of OddWatt, who will give a talk on tube amps, and I'll give my usual "Crossover Electronics 101" seminar. There are others that have expressed interest, but until they commit, I'll not say at this point.

Hi Everyone, Who else is coming? I chatted with the hotel earlier and the cutoff is April 17. Don't wait until the last minute....one year about 3 ago I was tardy and they really didn't want to accommodate me. They did fortunately and we had a great time. I was told that they will have more bar help as it was a bit lacking last year. A large meeting room is ours for Saturday and supposedly there is a welcome table being set up in the lobby.

Oddwatt has some new things and some repeats. One is an updated version of our guitar head amp. So bring you guitars and hopefully someone will bring a few different speakers to try it on. A jam session in the meeting room might be cool. If all goes well it will enter our product line up later this year.

Sadly, I can't be there this year. First year since it started that has been the case. But I have too many competing priorities, and too much going on right around May. Sad

Thank goodness, Bruce Heran has stepped up to the plate and will be sort of a "point man" for the show. He and Rodney Brinker of OddWatt are show contacts for anyone needing assistance. Also, Scott Sheaffer of Found Music will be there and will be taking on a leadership role as well.

Wayne, That sucks. I've never had the opportunity to attend before, and I'm hoping I get the chance this year. Does your absence mean no PI speakers, or will somebody else help out?
