Any musicians here? Have you heard any of the recent stories of musicians with very expensive and rare instruments (a violin comes to mind in one case) being destroyed by customs because they believe them to be infested with parasites? Or worse, of the baggage handlers treating them so badly that they were destroyed?
I didn't know that this was an issue. I'm guessing that those who own smaller instruments can take them into the cabin, but what alternative is there for say, double bass owners? How could they take them into the cabin?
