My dad did a wonderful thing for all of us for Christmas. He got his mother to agree to go to a recording studio of some sort and tell things about her childhood and life! So far they've done one session, 45 minutes long. We all watched it Christmas, at Grandma's house.

When I saw the topic "recording memories" I thought that someone else had begun this process, but that thread was different.

I think everyone should start pressuring their grandmothers to let themselves be captured digitally.

Your Dad is truly giving everyone a gift. I hope that he gets your grandmother in for more talks.

You're right; everyone should do this. If you can't get Grandma to agree to video, at least try to get an audio recording.
