More than half of all current internet traffic consists of bots. It seems us humans have a lot of competition out there when surfing the web. What do you think of this report?

I suspect it is accurate. In order to be able to search the web for information, the information needs to be located and indexed. That is what the bots do for a living. Whenever I check on who is on a web site there are lots of bots. One is likely reading this as I type it.

I've noticed that too. Some people think there is something nefarious about it all, but it's like you said......they're just doing their job so we can surf the web faster.
