I know several posters here like to build their own audio system components. Do you sell them as well, or do you build them for yourself as a hobby?

Back when I used to cabinets/shelving units I would sell them. It was a hobby I enjoyed doing and making money off of it was icing on the cake.

Hi, Well yes and no. There are a number of amps and such around here that could go and not be missed. Unfortunately not cheap. Tube gear tends to be costly. On the flip side, some are prototypes of the commercial kits and have sort of a sentimental value as the first ones of the breed. In either case it would be difficult to establish a reasonable price. Is the prototype of a $600 kit worth $600 or more or less? In any case I have lost count of how many of my projects (amps, preamps and in one case speaker system) there are here.

Good Listening
