Any chance I can get the plans for the 3 pi's before I purchase a kit?

I'm looking to start upgrading my speakers now that I have my new XPA-5, and from what I can tell the 3pi's are about perfect for this amp 300watts @ 4 ohms.

My initial plan is to build 3 3pi's for the front channels and see how it goes.

I also had a question about the 4pi's and 6pi's what is the minimum amp rating for these? I eventually would like to build these as the front channels and move the 3pi's to the back.

Thank you in advance.

Bob

You've got mail!

About amplifier power: Some people run them with single ended 2A3 amps, and those can only source about two watts. However, I prefer them on an amp that is capable of at least ten watts.

Hi Wayne,

Thank you very much for the plans. I was checking on your site (this page: http://www.PiSpeakers.com/Prices.html) and it looks like the 4Pi speakers use a slightly smaller cabinet, is this true?

If it is the 4Pi's may be a better choice for me at the moment.

That's true - The four π loudspeaker is slightly smaller. A little more efficient too.

Hi Wayne,

Can you send me the 4pi Plans? I think this is the route I'm going to go first.

Thank you,
Bob
