Page count down slighty again for the new issue. I know this
(August) is sort of the dog days for publishing but many times the
combined article count seems to shrink for speaks. I know Ed has a formula for this but the mag still seems pretty thin.

I certainly don't want to lose it, but I'm wondering what
can be done to save it? Some sort of hybrid print mag. and
online service for their archives? Creative Commons licensing
of articles?

Dunno.

Their content seems good. I hope there is nothing to it, and that they're doing just fine. Maybe Bill Fitzmaurice knows a little more since he writes for them.

AudioeXpress always shrinks around august, even DIY'ers take vacations. Watch, it will pick up in november and go strong from there until june-july. Eases up in march sometimes. 3-6 mo. lead time so think of Christmas.
