Hi Wayne

I built a pair of 4Pi about 5 years ago and after 2 years without using it, I just put them back into my system.

After years of using "traditional" speakers (Usher x718), I'm glad to hear this full and efortless sound again Smile

I've been reading about the new H290C and I noticed a mention to "the pre-2012 crossover used with the old H290".

Does it mean there was a crossover modification on 2012?
Are those changes for H290C only?
I have a 2008 crossover with psd2002 and Omega 15. Any update for this configuration?

I'm looking forward to upgrade my 4Pi. Unfortunately, 2226H is unavailable in my country and the shipping costs would be huge for a pair of woofers this heavy!

I will start with horns or drivers. What do you recommend?
Should I try the new horns with my PSD2002 or upgrading to DE250 while keeping my old H290?
The last option looks better, but I have never felt completely satisfied with the highs on my 4Pi and I'm afraid that the DE250 would be a smoother version of the same sound signature (difficult to translate to words... sometimes it sounds a bit out of control, like if it was too easy to make it "ring" or "shout")

Thanks for your advice!
