Wayne,

My room is on the dead side and I'd like get a little more from the top horn on my 7pi's without resorting to eq. I know very little about crossovers... Can this be accomplished by removing a resistor or two from top horn's circuit?

Yes, you can change the R1/R2 values as shown in the chart at the link below. For more top end, use less attenuation.
