In your opinion, out of all the recordings ever made, which one has the best sound to you? This is in terms of the clarity and the ease of which you can make out every instrument played on the recording.

Hi, I have too many to pick a single one... but on vinyl ones by Command Stereo or Project 3 stereo seem to be top flight and hold up well. The Diana Krall Let Me Look In You Eyes LP set is rather good for vocal but in some parts the piano could be a bit cleaner. The Chris Botti in Boston Blue Ray (in HD) is quite excellent. For CDs, none really.

Good Listening

For my ears it's pretty much anything that Alan Parsons produces. "Dark Side Of The Moon" is a prime example. A lot of people I know say "Animals", by Pink Floyd of course, and I've run across a few that actually say "Pet Sounds" by the Beach Boys has the best clarity.
