A friend of mine says he wants to take up the harmonica. I don't know anything about the instrument, so I was wondering if we have any harmonica players here. How can you tell a quality harmonica from a cheap one? What price range should you be going for in an entry level instrument?
That's a good question. My first instinct is to say go for a cheap one, but not the plastic ones of course. However, having little experience myself, I can't say how "play-able" a cheaper metal harmonica is compared to one of higher quality.
