I've been shopping around for a keyboard for a while now, but one thing I've noticed is that they don't all have the same number of keys. What's up with this, and how many keys do I want my keyboard to have?

Many songs don't use the full 88 keys, so manufacturers produce keyboards with fewer keys for a reduced price. Personally I want to have all the keys there so I would always spring for the 88 key version.

I agree with Nymeria. It's better to have the full keyboard and not need all of it than to be playing and suddenly realize you can't play the full song due to a shorter keyboard.
