Have you ever watched Ice Age? The intro scene has some amazing sound design. It would have been fun to put together the audio to match the video of ice moving and shards falling.

I love the Ice Age movies! Normally I don't really care for animated movies, but Ice Age is one I made an exception for. I've been trying to get my wife to watch them with me; I think she'd really like them, too.

I wonder what they used to get the sound effects they have in those movies...

I haven't seen any of the subsequent ones, but considering how often my kid watches the first one, we should probably check them out.

Movie studios have access to thousands of sound effects. I don't know which ones they combined to make the audio for Ice Age though.
