...I am bringing two commercially available OB's...

I'm looking forward to hearing your speakers. I know they will, as usual, sound great. Will it be two of these?

Fred...Bringing one of the OB's shown at the web site. That would be the commercial version of the Ultra. There is also a upgraded version not yet posted at the web site I call the Ultra Plus! Dual woofer with the Current Seas 8" dual cone. Will up date the web to show both hopefully next week after the photo shoot. So it will be the Ultra & Ultra Plus! both in commercial trim. Very Happy Look forward to seeing you at LSAF 2013! Cool

We have 150 AudioXpress magazines to hand out at the show.

So spread the word: First 150 guests Saturday get the magazines. We'll save 'em 'til Saturday morning, but they'll go quick.

One of our regular exhibitors - OddWatt Audio - is featured with an article written by Bruce Heran on their PoddWatt Series II amplifier.

Timing couldn't have been better. Cool

Hi Thanks for the kind thoughts. It would be even better if when they redrew the schematic they didn't introduce an error. Confused Most astute tube builders would find it, still.....

Good Listening

I hate when printed media goes out with misprints like that. Seems like it always does, a misquote or something. Just bugs me!

But at least it's in print. You can point it out to everyone that comes through your room. That way they can make note of the addendum, and get it straight from you! After geting the magazine for free, no less. Now that's service!

And while I'm thinking about it, I'd like to ask you to sign a copy of the magazine for me. I'm kinda sentimental, and I'll always remember this year's LSAF with my copy of the magazine.

Hi Wayne, Just save me a copy. BTW I have a pair of amps for you. My personal set of KT120 mono blocks. These were just upgraded with FT-3 Russian Teflon caps.

Good Listening

OK. I don't do rock. I don't have any feel for rock. I don't own any current (this century) rock. However, I feel the need to have maybe a half dozen cuts for demo purposes. Could I get some recommendations of songs that might be appropriate in the LSAF setting?

Thanks,
Bob

Bob, I should be there Friday morning. As it happens I've been on a sort of retro Rock-N-Roll kick of late taking a break from my usual Jazz choices and sort of reliving my youth so to speak.

I will be bringing some "Classic Rock" CD's and you would be welcome to rip them any and all. I assume that you will have your laptop front end you used last year.....

I'll look you up when I get there Friday morning.

John,

Thanks for the offer. I will be getting in ~3:00 Friday, and Bill Currier will be coming with me.

Classic rock I have. Fleetwood Mac: Rumours, Steely Dan: Aja, Led Zeppelin: Mother Ship. What I am looking for is some 21st century stuff. Any takers?

Bob
