Do we have any 12-string guitar players here? I play a 6-string myself, but have always wanted to buy a 12-string. How much harder are they to play?

I don't know personally and I hear varying reports. Some say it is about the same but others have told me it's harder. I consistently hear that 12 string guitars are really best for rhythm and don't lend themselves well to solos.
