Has anyone every used Redbox? I have seen it in Walmart everywhere, I just can't quite get over the thought of having DVD's available for rental at a box instead of an actual store. I miss the days when I could go to Blockbuster and rent a movie.

Once you use it, though, you'll realize how great Redbox can be. It's hard to beat renting a DVD or BluRay for under $2.00. They are popping up everywhere around here, so it's really convenient.

I tried it this past December to watch Scott Pilgrim Versus the World, and it really is pretty convenient! I just have to be wary to turn in the movie on time, of course.

I am actually part of their beta testing for a streaming program. I guess their goal is to be kind of like Netflix. My only complaint so far is that there aren't a lot of newer streaming movies to choose from.

It would be totally awesome if they can manage to create a streaming system like Netflix! Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think even Netflix has many new movies either.

We use Redbox every Saturday. It is hard to beat the price. I also like the fact that you can take the movie back to any Redbox machine. That makes it so much more convenient. You can even get games, though I have never done that. I miss the wider selection of a physical store, but I like the convenience and price of the box.

I didn't know that you could take it back to any Redbox machine. I thought you had to take it to the one you got it from, but now that I know differently I might use it more often.

I love Redbox. I had no idea they were trying a streaming service; I hope it's better than Netflix. I find Netflix really irritating to use since it never has the movies I want.

Yes, it was awhile before we knew we could take it back to any Redbox. Sometimes we went quite out of our way. We started renting more frequently once we knew.

I've used Redbox a couple of times, but with Netflix, Amazon Instant Prime, Vudu, etc., we really don't rent movies all that often anymore. The price point ($1 or $2/movie) is great though, and I like that we have several of them within about 5 minutes of the house.
