Anyone else here a fan of the Crockpot slow cooker? My wife cooked a pound of dry black-eye peas in ours a few days ago and we're still eating on them - with Jiffy corn muffins, of course. She gets on a kick when the weather turns cold where that's all she cooks with. (The Crockpot, I mean.) Not that I'm complaining - the food is really good.
