Woah, cool, I hit the button right exactly at 16:00:00.

Too bad I wasn't three hours earlier. Skeery!

We had a good friday too! ;-)

too bad they turned the subs down(or blew them) leaving me with piercing high frequencies!(earplugs saved the day!)
Id love to design them some basshorns that will punish the place!

I'd like to design some bass horns that would get a couple of those girls in the top-left photo to my place.

But that would be *very* expensive - have to send the wife on a serious vacation somewhere.

Just before she got everything and sent ME on vacation. Permanently.

yes im so glad my flatmate gave me those earplugs when we were at home!

when i took them out it felt like my ears were clipping! 120db of 1khz YOUCH

I know when theres a lack of bass they pretend its loud by turning up whatever they can :P

-whats the point!- after going to 1 gig a week, which is 6hrs of loud loud music which would be 105db at The quietest times..probably 120db of bass when im near the subs..

ugh!

Yeah, I've been to lots of clubs that sounded just like you're describing. One place I used to go a lot in Tulsa had a great band system, but in between sets, they played this nasty second system. The live sound had about 12Kw of Crown power and JBL's all around. But the secondary system was underpowered and had about twice as many piezo electric tweeters as they needed. Talk about two different sound characters! The main system sounded great, best in Tulsa. But the second system was the most hideous thing you ever heard, shrill and spitty, lots of energy in the upper midrange and treble. The place wass called the Brink, and the secondary system 'bout put you over the Brink!
