Hi Wayne, could I request a set of plans for the 4pi speakers for home theatre use as I think the postage to australia would kill me! Great work, I cant stop reading.

Hello,

I am fairly new to DIY, but am excited about the possibilities. I am interested in building the 4 pi speakers. I see they have high sensitivity, but are also rated for high wattage. How much power do you recommend for these? Eventually I would like to build a pair of push/pull monoblocks. Any of the designs that I am interested in are around 20-25 watts. Would this be sufficient. Keeping in mind, I love to crank the volume from time to time (all the time).

Thanks.

I run mine with a 10 watt SET amp. That's plenty loud - Gets up to 108dB with just that. They'll handle a lot more, but they are efficient speakers and don't need much to get loud.
