There have been a lot of rumors of the Foo Fighters splitting up, which would be a real shame if you ask me. Dave Grohl insists they are just taking a break for now though. I hope he's telling the truth and the break isn't too long.

They have been together a long time, so I can see why they would want to focus on other projects for awhile. Still, "taking a break" is often code for unofficially splitting up, so we'll see.
