Thanks for the GREAT writeup!

I'm itching to build a set of 6π's too.

Can you comment on the performance using a phantom center? I do plan to build a 3π for center channel duty at some point, but need to build my acoustically transparent screen first.

So I'm trying to decide if the screen project needs to come before the speaker project. I want to do the speaker project if I think I can get by with a phantom center for a year or two.
