Do you solder in well-ventilated areas, or is this something you don't worry about too much? What (if any) health risks are associated with soldering in enclosed areas?

Hi, I use a well ventilated shop. An exhaust fan runs all the time. Yes I suppose there are hazards, since I use solder with lead content and tend to fry wires and parts from time to time. Shocked At my age I expect something else will get me before they do. Rolling Eyes If much younger I would take precautions for sure.

Something you didn't ask about though is important and that is having a work area big enough (an uncluttered) with ground fault protected power. This will help keep you from getting zapped accidentally. A far greater risk as far as I am concerned and much more likely to be deadly.
