I'm currently using an Infinity 8 ohm center channel speaker that has two 6" woofer/midrange drivers one left and one right surrounding a dome tweeter in a horizontal speaker. It is rated at 200 watts rms, and does a fairly good job, but it is dwarfed by my two Three Pi left and right channel speakers.

Since I have a Mits DLP rear projector, my choices are limited. I have the following space to work in:

21" W x 16.5" H x 19" Deep.

I would like to build a speaker (preferably from a kit) that would come closer to matching my two Three Pi speakers. Bass is definitely smaller than the output of the Pi speakers. I'll buy a speaker if I have to. The only requirements other than size, are that it be a minimum of 6 ohms, and preferably 8 ohms.

Such a speaker would fit into the TV stand under the screen.

Thanks for any help.

Floyd
