It was Wisconsin and USC, Rose Bowl 1963. Pete Beatherd had USC up by 42-14 at the end of the third quarter and everybody sat down to dinner. A few of us snuck back in the den to watch Vanderkelen throw his 4 TD passes in under 15 minutes.

Since they beat USC it was a good thing Having been humbled by bigger schools for so many years the fans from Wa and Or don't shed many tears when USC gets beat

Ah yes, I remember this one. The kid actor wore glasses, yes? He has a British name, maybe ending in "ham" but it's escaping me.

Good answer! I remember that one and how funny it was. Wouldn't it be horrible if that could actually happen to us?

I like the old original Miracle on 34th Street much better... and in black and white. Colorized version just loses something in my opinion.

Those are good choices, too. Looks as if we're divided between the very poignant and the very funny when it comes to favorites.

My favorite holiday movie is Cheaper by a Dozen 2. It's a great family movie. Can you imagine having a dozen of kids to take care during vacation?
