Has anyone else been invited to join the Google panel? The program is called Screenwise and basically they want to put a tracking device of sorts on your computer and tv to help them advertise to you better. They offer you a $100 to sign up and then you get at least $30 for each month you participate. I don't think we are going to participate. If you get an invitation and you don't want to join open the envelope anyway...there was $5 in there!

Hi, It almost sounds like some sort of scam. $5 bait and then you get sucked into something that eventually costs you more. Could be legit but I would be a bit leery.

I got an invitation too and it looks legit, but I am not very comfortable with them tracking every move I make online and the tv we watch so we are declining.

We also declined for the same reasons Turnitup. Sometimes easy money is just that...too easy. Of course if Obama signs CISPA into law that will be the end of internet privacy anyway.
