The best source is the print catalogs which are updated
pretty often, though I don't know the names of them.

With all the info in the net, I don't know of a good
source though you could start with Goldmine magazine
site.

The ideal would be to be able to go to a form, type in
your stuff and get a price. I don't know of any such
source, though there are lists that have been scanned.
That's way to tedious for me to do on screen and so
a print catalogue is preferred.

Also, what to make of the various rating systems of LP
quality? I am not a collector and I don't understand
much of the rating process.

I'll have to check this site out, too. I have a set of records that are the old 78s. The music is from the 30s and 40s and I have *no* idea where to begin finding out what they're worth. I thought about taking them to a collector's flea market to get some estimates but I haven't done it yet.

I'm afraid there aren't any of those, no. I haven't looked at the set for quite a while, but I'm remember Andrews Sisters, Pat Boone, and some older ones than Boone. I really need to do something about those records... I'm glad this thread reminded me.
