Having just acquired a Sherwood R-972 receiver with the Trinnov room correction, the need for a quality center channel has arisen. The front right and left speakers will be 6pi corner horns. An upgraded 3pi is a consideration; however, the standard 3pi cabinet is several inches too tall and would require modification. Any other suggestions for a quality solution.

I would use a three π center speaker because it is a good spectral match.
