I found it interesting too.

For excellent wire and cables of all kinds, the best source I have found is Monoprice. Their fiber optic and HDMI cables are just excellent. And they sell wire in 50 and 100 foot lengths (more if you want) that is super heavy duty and has a blue or red line running the length of one side for easy polarity.

One of the few great bargain sites I have found (found monoprice at AVS forum).

Cartridges are quite another thing. No bargains there I think.
