I bought a 5.1 PC surround system, and it is connected to my sound card via 3 3.5mm jacks. Whenever I want to use the system on my PS3, I have to switch wires. This is really getting to be a pain, so is there some way I can get both my PC and PS3 hooked up to the system to play at the same time?

Use a mixer. A simple one can be made with just a few resistors. Heck, even a "Y" cable will work.
