How can we make transitions in music mixing smoother? I'm extremely terrible at making smooth transitions that usually when i merge two songs there's the abrupt cut in the middle. It sounds horrible. xx

First, make sure you are editing at a good point; don't cut off one song midvocal, for example. Second, once you select an edit point, you can also do a crossfade to smooth out any remaining audio artifacts.
