Has anyone here seen the second Sherlock Holmes movie? I checked it out over the holidays; it's pretty good, much better than the first. There are some neat cinematography moments as well.

I am interested in catching this movie but have no definite plan to do so. Most of my friends think it sound boring, which I think is based on impressions of the books about Sherlock Holmes.

I saw it and loved it! I really enjoyed both the first and the second movie.

Well, the movie plots are jumbled up versions of story plots, and the characters are much sexier--not just in looks but in the typical Hollywood way of making everything more exciting and in-your-face. The movies are nothing like the books; you can't really compare them as both are good in very different ways.

I have to be honest and say it's not one I even thought about watching. I am not a fan of Sherlock Holmes and when I watched the first one I was not impressed. Glad to hear it is better then the first one.

I'm glad to hear you say more good things on top of the good things I already heard. I didn't watch the first movie but from what I'm hearing I need to go watch this.

I've watched the first one and it made me a fan of Sherlock Holmes. I just knew the name that the person is a detective but I never read any books about that character. I also can't wait to see the sequel.

I normally predict the outcome of the movie but not this one.

Haven't seen this one yet but I love Sherlock Holmes, saw the first one, and while Downy Jr. isn't the contemplative detective that Holmes is meant to be his version is just different not better or worse.
