Reversing tweeter polarity will "double swap" if using a DE250, so yes, red to positive in that case.
You can increase the midhorn attenuation by ~2.5dB by changing the values of R4 and R5 to 5Ω each. The specified values of R4/R5 (4/8) are set to attenuate 6dB. By shifting values to (5/5), you'll increase attenuation to 8.5dB.
