This is an awesome movie. I watched it this weekend and just lived it. It's the true story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle - a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. His bike was modified using primitive techniques even for the 1960's, but he set records nonetheless. One of his speed records stands to this day.

Fu$%^&# COOL!

I emailed this to my Dad and Brother, both big bike fans and Harley riders (no, my wife doesn't like the idea of me riding again )

On a side note, if my Dad can get off we're gonna go to Sturgis Aug 3-6th. I may have to con him into paying for me to get a little more ink work done.

The movie is great! Your Dad and your Brother are really gonna love it! I watched a rental, and immediately afterwards went to Amazon and bought two copies, one for me and another for a gift. This movie is definitely a keeper!

Well, Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite actors and I'm going to watch out for it on HBO, Cinemax or StarTV whichever comes first.

Awesome movie for sure! I like Sir Hopkins, too... he was great
in the first Lion in Winter as well. I have a copy of the old and
new version of that one and I never get tired of it. I'd recommend The World's Fastest Indian to anyone.
