Take a look at the Denon. There are a couple high end Sony that are very exceptional and also play SACD. I'm happy with the Pioneer DV-563A. Its not the greatest DVD player but is very adequite. The SACD quality is perfect (the main reason I bought it) Playing redbook on it sucks. I use it as a transport with an outside DAC (art DI/O) and it sounds better than most costing thousands.
