What do people use? I have rewired a number of amps and my CD player signal cables with a various Audio Note (UK) cables (IC cable wires). It make a difference there. I'm not sure with the speakers. Also, the runs are long enough to be costly at AN IC prices! Or should I be using speaker wires?

Use a good stranded copper conductor that's 16 guage or larger. Only use enough to reach the components, and don't leave a bunch of extra coiled up on the bottom. But do use enough to allow slack for easy service - Make sure there's an extra foot or two so you can easily connect the drivers outside the box before installing them.
