My toddler is learning microphone history on Sesame Street this morning. Brian Williams keeps showing up with progressively older mics to report the "news". It's cute, but I wish I knew the actual models used.

Ha, that's cute. I don't watch Sesame Street so I didn't know about that skit. It would be more educational if they mentioned the mic models but would probably take away from the skit.

I think that by even showing the older mics they spark something in the brain of little ones. I wonder how it is to grow up in a world where you can use a computer almost before you can walk! And most people are plugged into personal stereos or watching TV on the train! Sesame Street is refreshing for children and long may it last.
