Use the crossover shown in the plans. It is optimized and should not be changed. Do not substitute drivers - use only the ones suggested in the plans.

Again, this is an optimized design. If you deviate, you are throwing away literally hundreds of hours of design and test time, and that after a lifetime of study and perfection of this style loudspeaker. I don't want to come across immodestly, but I do want to impress upon you that this isn't just a weekend effort using casually chosen drivers. It is a mature and fully polished design.

For surrounds, you can use one π or two π model loudspeakers.
