At last I finished my first self built loudspeakers! Here they are:

The keyboard (my daughter's) has nothing to do with...

From an aesthetic point of view, I am not that satisfied: above
all, I was disappointed by the plywood I was given, that okoumè...
Then, I wanted to try the shellac finish, but the result is not
excellent (for lack of experience). But, all is done...

The sound? Greeeaaat! I was afraid to regret my old suspension
speakers (I had a pair of New Advent Loudspeakers), but here we
are on another planet! For an exhaustive listen impression, I
have better to wait another while (I have listened to them for a
day or two till now...). Did you see what an amplifier?! It is a
t-amp, a SMSL SA-36 TA2020 (nearly $38!). As a source, I am
using a simple DVD home-player, but I bought an external DAC
for conversion (SMSL DIR9001+PCM1793+OPA2134 nearly $70).
In other words, I spent less than $ 600 for all! I think it is
a record of best value-for-money, isn't it?
It is something incredible! I am happy like a child (and I am
nearly 50!).

I must show my gratitude to Wayne Parham, who allowed me to
carry this dream of mine out. Thank you a lot! Smile
