Here are a cpl pics of my progress. I have the box built and the baffle all cut and ready to go. I will install the insulation this week and then its just a wait til I can order the drivers. I made a screw up when I marked the two 1/2" holes for the tweeter and plugged the with dowels. Also my homemade circle jig has a low screw that scratched the face slightly. I filled it all with putty and flushed it all out. I will be using a hammer finish black paint on the box to match the rack it sits in so I am not to concerned about my mistakes. Live and learn eh?

It's a great satisfaction to rub your finger across the junction of MDF panels and feel how tight and flush they are. Nice work!

If you've used Hammered paint before you know how delicate it is for at least 7 days. Spray and go away.

Thanks =) Yes I have dealt with it a bit and have learned essentially what you are saying =P I look forward to buying some more MDF and building the towers or a pair of these. I will finish my HT out with 1pi surrounds and another Table Tuba to even out my bass.

Do I leave them under clamp pressure the full 24hrs? I don't know whats suggested. They have been clamped for around 13hrs.

Clamp pressure length all depends on the glue you use. I think Tightbond or PL adhesive is going to be fully set (or at least enough to no longer need clamping pressure) in a few hours. But some white glues need longer.
