Is it in New York? St Paddy's Day Parade, of course it's in New York; right down Fifth Avenue for only about 254yrs now. First parade occured in 1762. Largest Parade for St. Paddy's day in the whole wide world. This year they have over 250,000 marchers and usually about a million watchers depending on the weather. When we were younger we used to go but it got to where there were so many drunks that it was a zoo in there. Now they control the alchohol so it is more of a family thing. The real action is in the bars along Second Avenue; lot of Irish pubs that way. He passed at 12:48 EST.
