Thanks Wayne. You are an amazingly helpful person. Hope to start on my cabs this weekend or the next. These will be replacing some 15 or so year old pioneer floor standers Cs-N775's. They are 4 way speakers. How do you think the 2pi will compare? I know that is a hard question to answer but perhaps you may have an idea =P

And what about rockwool as insulation?
I know it's a very good sound insulator but that could be a little
dangerous, too. Someone suggested to treat it with hairspray (yes),
in order to "fix" the irritant dust emanation.
The reason is that I cannot find the R13 insulation and the fiber
glass here available is considered much more dangerous than
rockwool...
